Please Welcome Ian and Declan Murphy
OK…this has nothing to do with InDesign, but I had to let you all know that today — nearly 11 weeks early — our twin sons Ian and Declan joined the world. For preemies, they came out feisty and they’re in wonderful medical hands until we can hold them in our own.

I’ve just entered your blog looking for one fantastic tutorial I’ve already seen about indexes, when I read this announcement – with no comments – almost a month ago and no other posts after that.
So, I decided to leave a comment with my best wishes for your new babies – and the rest of the family! – and I really really hope you can already, by now, have them in your arms, in good health!
Have a wonderful new year! And thanks a lot for the knowledge you share with the rest of us

I am shocked there aren’t more comments here!
Congratulations Michael and the Murphy family!
I had seen this post but not left a comment as I was not logged in. I expect that this will mean even longer intervals between postings and new pod-casts, totally understandable.
Best wishes to you and your family and new twins!

Hi,
Firstable, I hope my english will be understandable.
Congratulations for your twins. I personnaly have 4 children but no twins 😉
I just discover your podcasts which I found very well done and very interestings. As I’m a teacher, I can tell you that your “lessons” are very pedagogical, congratulations!
I’m working with design softs although I’m not a designer. I’m working in a superior educationnal institute near Paris, France that could explain syntax errors in my message.
However, the very last episode of your podcast has been posted in April 2010. I suppose your knew family as something to do with that. But do you intend to create new podcasts in the future?
And as we say in French: “Beaucoup de bonheur aux bébés et aux heureux parents !”
which can be translated in: Much happiness for the babies and the happy parents or something like that…

My congratulation to the parents and best wishes to your nice boys.
I was far away for a while and I did not notice these good news.
Let’s go for a pint of… Murphy !!!

Thanks so much for your kind words and thoughts, everyone. The boys are getting bigger every day and I’m more tired than I’ve ever been, but all is well and I hope to have more contributions to the InDesign community to share here soon.

Thanks, Jeanne. Yes…the boys are now four and are two of the three reasons I haven’t found my way back to creating new podcasts. Thanks for the kind wishes…Happy New Year to you as well.
